"What if..." iMacs by The Iconfactory

The original iMac icon was done the day after Apple unveiled the new iMac G3 consumer model. I was so excited by the design, I wanted to be the first to make an icon of it. I uploaded it to Info-Mac the next day, making this the very first iCon of it’s kind! Since this initial release, the hype behind the iMac has reached monumental proportions. Along with the hype has come speculation on possible “custom colors” for the iMac. Changing the original “Bondi Blue” to a color more acceptable to a corporate environment, or to match a college’s school colors is an appealing prospect. We therefore present the “What if…” iMac icon collection based on my original icon design, just with all new color schemes.

Enjoy,

Dave and Talos

Thanks:

All of us at The Iconfactory would like to give a big thanks to Apple Computer for restoring our faith that Apple can crank out innovative design at an affordable price!
